In 2004 the Ohio Secretary of State granted 501 (c) (3) status to the Friends of the Buckeye Lake Library, Inc. as a non-profit organization.

Since the Buckeye Lake Branch of the Licking County Library System opened its doors we have experienced growth on a steady basis in the numbers of patrons holding cards, books and materials borrowed, participation in reading and other library activities and in computer usage.

  Make Donations

Support the Friends of Buckeye Lake Library and make a donation today! The Friends group provides money to pay the operating costs of the library (rent, utilities, insurance, etc.) through a variety of fundraisers and through donations from the community.Please help us keep the Village of Buckeye Lake Public Library open for our future generations by participating in one of our fundraisers or donating today.

No, Dolly Parton is not coming to Buckeye Lake but her “Imagination Library” is already here in Licking County. 

Stop by the Buckeye Lake Library and enroll your child to receive a FREE BOOK every month until their fifth birthday. 

Yes, a Free, age appropriate book will arrive  monthly to help as you read with your children and open the pathway of the exciting world of books.

In 2004 the Ohio Secretary of State granted 501 (c) (3) status to the Friends of the Buckeye Lake Library, Inc. as a non-profit organization with a stated purpose of maintaining “an association of persons interested in the Buckeye Lake Library; to focus public attention on resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests to the Library; to support and cooperate with the Library in developing library services and facilities for the community; and to support the freedom to read.”
